Ingredients to make Makhmali Kofta
Maize flour mixed in milk – 1 cup
Ghee – 4 tbsp
Cumin – 1 teaspoon
Poppy seeds – 1 teaspoon
Coconut – 2 tbsp
Garam masala – 1 tsp
Black pepper – 1 teaspoon
Coriander – 2 tsp (finely chopped)
Ginger – 1 tsp (finely chopped)
salt – to taste

To make Kofta-
Flour – 50 grams
Khoya – 200 grams
Sweet soda – a pinch
Ghee – for frying

How to make Makhmali Kofta
First of all, take khoya in a bowl and mix refined flour and sweet soda in it. Now add some water to it and mix it well and give it the shape of kofta. After this, fry it well in ghee. Fry it till it becomes golden and take it out and keep it aside.

To make gravy, soak poppy seeds and coconut in water and then grind it to make a paste. Pour ghee in a pan and add cumin and ginger to it and fry it. Now put all the spices in it and fry it well. After this, when oil starts coming out from the spices, add coconut and poppy seeds paste to it and cook it. Add maize flour and milk to it and keep mixing it well. Add little water and cook this gravy for at least 10 minutes. Now add salt and kofta balls to it. Cook it for 2 to 4 minutes and serve hot.
